History

Rishra High School was set up in 1931 on the bank of the Ganges at  Rishra in Hooghly in the wake of a boyish dispute between the boys of Rishra and  the boys of Konnagar. Hem Chandra Dan was the founder of this school .Students of Rishra High School are today placed in different positions across the globe.Rishra High  school is ideally equipped with every thing required for an effective teaching - learing atmosphere.
