History

Baira Kurchi is a picturesque calm village. Earlier the communication system of the village was not so good. Therefore it was difficult for the students of Baira Kurchi and adjacent localities to continue studies after class iv  as there was only a primary school ie. Baira Kurchi Primary School at this locality. Therefore, a considerable number of students had to leave studies and eventually it leads to the other social problem like 'Early Marriage' and 'Child Labour'. In this situation demand for a Co-Educational High School evolved. The local residents  put their effort to have an Upper Primary School at that locality. One of the eminent faces among the other was Shri Keshab Chandra Bera, the former H.T of Baira Kurchi Pry School. Finally the school got recognition from WBBSE on 01.05.2008. Initially the school started functioning at BKPS. The school got its NSB on 2014 and eventually started functioning in this current facility. Gradually our school has declined the rate of dropout to zero.
