                                                                             HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL

                             Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high. Unpurterbed by the Himalayan obstacles placed on their path and motivated by a burning enthusiasm to light the candle of knowledge among the masses a few local educationists built the school in1973 in the remote village of Rajibpur in the district of Howrah. Starting its journey as a two-class junior high school in mud huts with thatched roofs the school got recognition from the board in 1986.It was only in 2008 that the school was upgreaded to a secondary school with thirty students who sat for the Madhyamik examination thereby opening a new vista in the history the school.Since its inception our school has never deviated form its motto of giving free access to education for the poorest of the poor in its own and adjoining villages.
