History

Adarsh Hindi High School (H.S.) Khidderpore is located at 2, Mominpore Road, Kolkata-700023 is a Govt. Aided School and it is not under any trust. It comes under KMC Ward No.-78, Borough-V, S.N.-47, Disc Code-19170108120 under circle X. It was established in 1953 and recognised by W.B.B.S.E. in 1953 having Index NO.-003-110. The school has been upgraded to H.S. in 2009 by W.B.C.H.S.E. having Index NO-101358. The school came under Grant-in-Aid in 1971.

The school is basically situated in slum area and majority of students came from poor family living below poverty line. The area is mainly minority (Muslim) dominated living peacefully.
