History

This school Shri Jnan Bhaskar Vidyalaya ,Primary is located  in the area Khidderpore,Ward -79  under Kolkata Municipal corporation.Its address is 11 , DOCK EASTERN BOUNDARY ROAD (EAST YARD),NEAR BHUKAILASH MAIDAN, KOLKATA. PIN-700023.It was established    in 1952.Formerly it was situated at 27-28 KHIDDERPORE DOCK,CALCUTTA PORT COMMISSIONERS LINE,CALCUTTA -23.

Foundation stone of SHRI JNAN BHASKAR VIDYALAYA, BHAWAN was laid by Shri Tarun Chandra Dutt , IAS, Chairman, KOLKATA PORT TRUST on the 2nd MAY '1985. After completion of this Bhawan it was inaugurated by Shri  Tarun Chandra Dutt,Chief Secretary, Govt of West Bengal on 10th FEBRUARY '1990 in presence of Guest in chief Dr. A. C. Ray, Chairman Calcutta Port Trust.
