Jadavpur Girls' High School was establised in 1946 and was affiliated to W.B.B.S.E.in 1953 vide Board's Memo No. 19679 dt. 30/12/1952. The school was upgraded to the H.S. level in 2011 with Arts and Science streams vide W.B.C.H.S.E.'s Memo No. DS(A)SD/137/Recog 11 dated 06/07/2011. The I.C.T. scheme was introduced in 2014 to provide the students free computer education. The school building had been expanded with the A.C.R. Grant in 2014.
