History

Our school Shanti Sangha Siksha Mandir Girls'High School was first setup on 19th April 1959 under the able guidance of local well-wishers and educationists. Their initiative paved the way for the establishment of a primary school with 2 rooms with a thatched roof. Thus started the journey with 30-40 students and a few learned persons to teach them. Their relentless efforts and the determination of founding members received the government sanction for the school upto class VIII for girls on 1st January 1985. Since then there was no looking back. The school got affiliation from WBBSE on January 2000 and it's first batch of students appeared MP examination in the year 2001.
