The school had been established on 2nd january ,1957 with the help of doner of land named as late Narendranath Bhunia , Late Natendranath Bhunia and some welwishers of the near by villages.The school was initially started with a few students of class V . The founder HM was Sri Ranajit Maity who came from Midnapore. Due to lack of security he compelled to resign this post with in a few days.After his resignation, Mr.Dilip Kumar Maity became the HM who served his duties for one and half year.But for a better chance he resinged this post. In this vacat post, Sri Ananda Chandra Singha joined this school as a teacher cum HM. At that time Sri Mahitosh Dinda and Sri Bhupatinath Nanda also joined with him as AT. Mr Singha served his duties as a HM near about 2 years. Sri Dwijapada Panigrahi Joined this school as a HM in permanent post in 1960. At the period of Dwijapada Babu, the school had been affiliated 2class school on 31.03.1960 with Memo No.3235/SC/5/6R-3075/60. Next the school had been affiliated 4class school on 26.07.1962 vide memo No.12996/G and 10class school on 25.02.1965 vide Memo No.2785/G.At the time of 10class affiliation the teaching post was sanctioned in no.of 10 and no-teaching post in no. of 3.During his service period another 7 additional teaching post and one non-teaching post had been sanctioned.He retired on 31.06.1997. Then I joined as HM on 03.12.1997 in this vacant post .The school had been upgraded as HS in Arts stream.vide memo No.DS(Aca)SD/0256RECOG/2015,dt.09.02.2015.The subjects taught in our school in HS section are Bengali,English,Education,Political Science,Sanskrit,History,Geography.etc.Vocational(VIII+) stream had been started from 01.03.2011 in our school. This stream are two trades. One is Diesel Pumpset Repairing & another is Rural Electrification. The number of para-teacher had been sanctioned in our school in no. of three(3) from 10.01.2006. At present the total number of students of our school is 1329(V-175,VI-210,VII-193,VIII-156,IX-205,X-211,XI-86 & XII-93).There is a ICT computer Lab with 10 computers and one projector.The students develop their subject knowledge with the help of these computers .
