History

Situated at the heart of Nandakumar the School between flourishing day by day since 1948. The School bears the memory of Maharaja Nandakumar. It has become a three-storied huge building from the mudwalled tin and tile shed house of 1948. The School has progressed much in the hands of some active Headmaster and Secretaries with the help of several donors, SSM and Government. In 1998 on the occasion of Golden Jubilee, H.S. Section was sanctioned with Science and Arts Faculty. Now 16 Subjects are taught in the H.S. Section. In the Vocational Stream, four Subjects - Agriculture, Computer, Tailoring and Mobile Repairing are taught. The School offers Madhyamik and Higher Secondary course through Rabindra Mukta Vidyalaya. The School bears a perfect example of communal harmony. The Students of different community have been taking lessons here since 1948 joyfully. The School bears the flag of education in the surrounding villages. The School is progressing and will progress in the future.
