History

Welcome. Achieving humanity by conquering brutality through building of character and thereafter attaining divinity from humanity,is the main aim of education. Based on this ideology of Swami Vivekananda  Dubgohal Vivekananda Sikshaniketan was established in 1963 by Late Panchanan Mishra over 1.15 acres of land donated by Late Paresh Marik,Late Lalmohan Patra and Late Babulal Ghosh - all are from the village of Dubgohal itself..Late Mritunjay Mandal,famous kali-sadhak along with other young men came forward and joined as teachers.Late Nagendranath Pal  was the first Headmaster of the school. 

The school got her affiliation first as secondary from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education in 1984 and subsequently in 2014  as Higher Secondary from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. School must remember Ex-teacher Dr. Nitai Jana,the-then TIC for his contribution for the upgradation of the school to Higher  Secondary. Our school is  also recognised to West Bengal Vocational Education and Training for giving training to class VIII+ candidates.

The school has been a Govt. Sponsored school since 2015 .
