Welcome. Achieving humanity by conquering brutality through building of character and thereafter attaining divinity from humanity,is the main aim of education. Based on this ideology of Swami Vivekananda,Dubgohal Vivekananda Sikshaniketan was established in 1963 by Late Panchanan Mishra over 1.15 acres of land donated by Late Paresh Marik,Late Lalmohan Patra and Late Babulal Ghosh - all are from the village of Dubgohal itself.
The school got her affiliation first as secondary from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education in 1984 and subsequently in 2014 as Higher Secondary from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. Our school is also recognised to West Bengal Vocational Education and Training for giving training to class VIII+ candidates.
Our dedicated and highly qualified teachers are trying their best to impart holistic education in present perspective of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation with the objective to make students responsible, productive and useful member of the society.
But bounties of limitations stand erect as mountains. A school should have boundary walls for safety and protection, an auditorium for cultural gathering,a cleaner for maintaining health & hygiene. But unfortunately we have none of the three. Another major problem that troubles us paucity of latrines and urinals. Grant for library and laboratory is very difficult to be utilized without sufficient room and furniture.The another tremendous need we feel is the appointment to the five vacant posts.
In spite of having all these limitations and constraint,we earnestly serve our institution to see our children's all round development.
