History

Natuk Vivakananda Bidyamandir (H.S),formerly known a  Middle English School was established in 1896 and founded by well-known ,literate ,renowned ,respected person late Sri Upendranath Santra of Natuk village. In his own land ,Sri Santra founded this english medium school from stage standard one .He got support of the Natuk villagers and the support of the people of other neighbors  villagers .In Ghatal sub division it was the first enlish medium school. Gradually this english medium school becomes the centre of light of education of the large area around Natuk. In between 1930 to 1940,this middle english school was renamed as the spiritual educated hindu monk Vivakananda as Natuk Vivakananda Bidyamandir. At last after independence in 1948  Natuk Vivakananda Bidyamandir got its first govt. recognition as ten class school. In 1961 it got its XI class recognition with humanities and in 1964 it got its XI-science recognition and after that the school got recognition for commerce in XI class. Till date  Natuk Vivakananda Bidyamandir shining the light of education in science,arts and commerce. There are thousand of student who got their M.P and H.S education from this school.
