History

This school is the heart of this area concerned. since 1950 . A  large number of students passed out from this school and have become established in their respective fields . Once it was a small one but in course of time it has come in existance predominantly and profuously by its significance and contribution among the local people  in this area.    With the help of a good number of local youths and esteemed fellowmen, this institution has flourished herself full to her success .   Undoubtedly both the State and the Central Govt. have played a vital  and significant role for building  the todays formation of this institution .   We as well as the local people are really proud of it .  A large number of very good teachers came here and did great job of making pupil to a complete man.  However , in 2000 the main building of this school became innundated by flood which caused a great loss for this school .   Old records and vital documents had been lost and been  damaged a lot .  Nevertheless the Authority worked hard for recover and retrieve of  those documents as much as possible .  Firstly this institution was a Non-Government Aided Institution  but later on , as per Govt. order,  the School  Authority appealed for conversion of this institution from a non government aided school to a sponsored school under RMSA. However , since 2015  this school is officially a Sponsored Institution  There after a new Managing Committee formed of which the President of the said Committee was nominated by the Government.   Today  SMDC  and SMC  is the same and acting as a Joint Committee for the day to day activity and  development of the school.
