Campus of Ushagram Girls’ High School(H.S.) is an oasis to pupils in this dry coalfield area. Generosity of the God is visible everywhere in the campus. The atmosphere of this school is superb with bunches of natural greenery and scenery.

On week days typical school schedule happens in this school. Students start their day with a prayer in assembly. Prayers are good sources of passing the morals and values to the students. Students used to enrich their soul by realizing the essence of ethical values. Under the supervision of Headmistress and all the teachers, each and every student joins assembly prayer every day. It is a Govt. Aided Christian Minority school, so pupils used to sing Jesus’ song and Lord’s Prayer to praise God.Beneath the blue sky,on an open stage surrounded by big green trees when pupils sing together “Karon Iswar jogot ke amon prem korilen je aponar akjato putro ke daan korilen”(For God so loved the world that he gave His begotten Son – John 3 : 16) a mesmerising spiritual spectacle appears at that moment by the grace of the Almighty.

Ushagram Girls’ High School(H.S.) is a quite grand and big educational institution. It has three different sections namely Nursery –K.G., Primary & Higher Secondary Sections.Each section possesses their own building and playground. There is also a big auditorium where pupils celebrate all the significant days of the year like Teacher’s Day,Chistmas etc. in a magnificent way. There is a vast playground in secondary section surrounded by Krishnachura and Chatim trees (planted by ex-students & school staff) where the Republic Day and the Independence Day used to celebrate by school and students enjoy their annual sports meet in that play ground every year.Many students enjoy their Mid Day Meal on that ground under their favourite trees with the sound of chirping birds. In this campus, students can go to have fun with their friends and enjoy their learning with an awesome pollution free environment. There is also a big size garden along with pond having frog,fish,trees,colourful flowers,green grass, decorative trees etc. Running squirrels are loving members of this campus adding bonus joy to the daily lives of the school. In Ushagram Girls’ High School(H.S.) all the students are used to learn in wonderfully constructed building but they always find their paradise during Tiffin break or P.T. period when they get the opportunity to come out from classrooms and get connected to the mother nature. During the rainy season,many students give lame excuses to go outside for making themselves wet willingly. Most of the students after becoming part of this school transform their character as a nature lover.

In this campus there is a hostel for non-resident pupils. Boarders in this girls’ hostel enjoy their hostel life with beautiful and attractive surroundings. Day scholars are strictly prohibited to get entrance in that area. Atmosphere of the hostel is also very delightful as there are lots of greenery and scenic beauty.

Headmistress and Teachers play a vital role in guiding the students to righteous path in this school.The moral values inherited during school life can last for life time. Their skilled communication,appropriate discipline techniques create a positive learning environment for the students. Most teachers are more like best friends. Students can openly share their doubts,anxieties and frustrations with the teachers.Teachers and Headmistress are very much affectionate to the students and always conscious for the betterment of the pupils.

All good things about the school campus cannot be exhausted in this short article. But if there is a question of recommendation of Ushagram Girls’ High School(H.S.) to other people then the answer will be definitely affirmative. Genuinely  the school is the second home for all those people who know the value of  impact of the school in their lives and obviously they are fortunate and blessed.
