Overview
Established in the year 1946 by Swami Prabuddananda, a disciple of Swami Abhedananda of the Ramakrishna sect Sardeswari Government Girls High School was named after Maa Sarada Devi ,the holy consort of Shri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa . Sardeswari was accorded Its Governmental status on 18th of February 1974 and is at present the only Government school for Girls in the District of Darjeel
