The school was established in the year 1890 to enlighten the students of the rural area. The Maharaja of Coochbehar state at that time exteded his will to uplift the students of this rural area. His intention was the complete development of the students through proper education. The instiution is running with the proper guidance of the efficient academitian. The teachers are friend, philosopher and guide of the students. In 1976 the Higher Secondary section was to srart. From the inception the institution is still going on to achieve the students better future. The students of this institution are highly esytablished in the different fields of profession.
