MD NASIR ALAM
As the Headmaster of Dhanyakuria High School (HS) I am delighted to welcome you on our prestigious platform and provide a brief overview of our school. Unlike any other schools, our school is a place where the students feel themselves as if their ‘Second Home’. We always believe that effective teaching and learning occurs under a shared spirit of respect which creates a passionate schooling experience and a joyful learning. Our motto is to provide our children with quality education in a safe, secure and healthy atmosphere which will propel them towards a strong future- academically, socially and spiritually to the new heights and thus helping them to the development of a harmonious way of life.
We encourage bridging a rapport among the students, teachers, guardians, administration and the supporting staff to build up a knowledge society where excellence, as Aristotle penned “is an art won by training and habituation’. We strongly believe that education is a collaborative effort that involves able administration, committed teachers, motivated students and supporting guardians. As a 21st Century knowledge centre, our school encourages a combination of holistic and scholastic learning, , a global outlook interpersonal skills and multiple abilities in the form of co-curricular activities.
Late Upendranath Sawoo, revered founder of our school was an august soul who envisaged all round development of students with special focus on English. In the historic year 1885, he founded this school and later on he was accompanied by other noble persons. And now it is our duty to convey this hallowed legacy with dedications, energy and excellence. We take pride in academic achievements of our students in Board and Council exams, sports, exhibitions and other activities.
I feel myself extremely lucky as well as proud to be a successor of so many eminent personalities who served to uphold the fame of this institution and who were mentors rather than instructors. Last but not the least; please feel free to write to me via e-mail: suggestdhs@gmail.com for the betterment of the school. Your suggestions are most welcome.
