This is what we at Belgharia Deshapriya Vidyaniketan Girls High School (HS) believe in.  A prayer of thanks giving I offer to the benevolent Almighty for enlightening our founders and blessing them with the vision for building an educational institute for girls, way back in the early independent India.

I also the take this opportunity to express my sincerest gratitude to all our former Head Mistress, Assistant Headmistresses and the staff, both past and present, for having contributed to the establishment and steady growth of a well formed framework which lovingly and caringly contributed to the development of the girl child and transforming them into enlightened and confident individuals.

In the present world, youth especially girls, have the great responsibility of being more focused and courageous to brave all constraining fetters of destruction and negativity which continence to surround them, which tend to lure them in a abyss with no beam of light to guide them to the brighter side.

Keeping this mundane and ever-present truth before all of you, my dear and worthy students, you must house within yourselves, a dream – a dream that will help you to attain greater heights of glory and transform you into beacons of light.

I pray that your dream might be the initiators of a mighty vision – a vision that will take you at an elevated height which will lead you to the fulfillment of those missions that will uphold the name and ideals of your Alma Mater and make the school flag fly high in years to come.
