Dum Dum Deshbandhu High School offers quality education in informal learning situations. As the classes are not overburdened with students, interactions between teachers and students are quite conducive to getting at the goal of learning. Among many other programmes, CMDM is a successful one. But the school has no SMC, and, therefore, it is sometimes difficult to accomplish school work. Besides, poor roll strength is a great threat to the school. As it is not a higher secondary school, most of the local students get admission to local higher secondary schools. We have been doing much to nourish the school.
