The Foundation stone of BEGUM ROKEYA SMRITI BALIKA VIDYALAYA was laid on 12th Apri1,2000, in the premises of CJ-335, Salt Lake City, Kolkata — 700 091 where the present school is now held. The school started its journey on 2nd May in the year 2000, in the premises on Bidhannagar Govt. School, Salt Lake. Classes were held as per the timings of the morning section of a Govt. School.
