The staff at Godardihi High school is pleased to welcome you and your family to the 2020 academic year. At our school, we are committed to providing a safe, caring and nurturing learning environment for every student with a wide range of activities to learn and grow.
Our aim is to offer our students the best education while ensuring they stay connected to their culture. Offering higher education helps us to meet this goal. Our teachers collaborate on instructional strategies and lessons plans based on the WBBSE and WBCHSE Curriculum for the benefit of the children. They recognize each student’s unique talents, skills and potential. Thus, giving each and every student the attention necessary to achieve higher goals.
We are also committed to helping all our students become productive and responsible members of the community by creating a learning environment that fosters the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth of students. Here at Godardihi High School, the opportunities offered not only expose our students to different ways of learning but the level of activities and coaching also helps them further tone their skills.
Partnerships with parents and the community keep us strong. We encourage everyone to take an active role in his or her child’s education. Open communication between family and school has a significant impact on the growth of the child. As parents, guardians, and community members, you can play a very positive role by making sure the following:
1. Your child attends school every day
2. Ask your child about his day in school, what he learned, what he enjoyed most and was he happy
3. Encourage your child to read every day at home.
4. Contact the school, or e-mail/phone the Headmaster or teacher with your questions or concerns
5. Attend parent-teacher conferences to learn about your child’s progress
