Joresal School has established in the month of January,1970 in the remote village at Joresal under Barjora Block in the District of Bankura to spread the boys' and girl's of backward classes of Joresal and surrounding villages.The locality is surrounded by Sal Jangal.The school is now a Govt. Sponsored Higher Secondary School recognised by WBBSE and WBCHSE.

The school is situated in the remote jungle area of Barjora Block.Most of the students are SC,ST,OBC category. Teacher of the school are active and our motto is all-round development of students through joyful learning, cultural programmes like Basanta Utsav,Briksharopan Utsav,Children's Day, Teachers' Day,Annual Cultural Function,Annual Sports,Gymnasium and others medium.The M.C also take active part in the development work of the school. The school has upgraded H.S.level in the year 2016 for higher education of local students.
