Magura High School (H.S.), set up in 1969, a Govt- Sponsored High school at Magura under Joypur Block in the district of Bankura, is affiliated to W.B.B.S.E. and W.B.C.H.S.E. It has been a pride for the locals – thanks to its dedicated teachers and lovely pupils.

The school is situated in the lap of the green sal-forest area of Joypur Block in the district of Bankura, was established in 1969 through the visionary zeal of the local enthusiasts and education-lovers with an aim to spread the light of education among the children of the neighbouring areas ,most of whom come from the SC/ST/OBC communities.
