Headmaster's Description of the school - Santa High School that started its journey in 1942 and was affiliated in 1966 is engaged in educating the boys and girls coming from economically backward and mostly scheduled caste and scheduled tribe families. Many of them are first generation learners.In the beginning of every academic session for last twelve years we visited five to six primary schools of our catchment area to develop consciousness among the learners and their giuardians  to get the students admitted in high school in time.Apart from relentless effort to develop the academic proficiency, we take much care for their cultural, athletic and aesthetic development, and  try to give adequate support to get over financial obstacle by supplying text and helping books from Book Bank and woolen garments from Students 'Welfare Fund  that was set up in 2010 with a view to the fulfillment of the purpose stated.The result of Madhyamik Pariksha is quite satisfactory.Obtaining NMMSE SCHOLARSHIP students gave  a proof of their merit and standard of the school. Enthusiastic participation of the teachers and the students in beautification and tree plantation makes the school premises very much attractive. The role and function of the school is quite at par with the desire and expectation of the people and our authority.
