The school was recognized as VIII class Junior High School by the WBBSE Vide Memo No. S/Recog/96/87 dated 12--3-1996, w.e.f. 01-05-1996. After that, the school was recognized as X class High School by the WBBSE as per Ref. No - S/Recog/2000 dated,27-04-2000 : Vide Memo No. 427 SE(S), dated , 13-03-2000, w.e.f 01-05-2000 . The Higher Secondary section was sanctioned vide Memo No. 100 - SE(HS)/35 - 12/2010 by the WBCHSE.

                         On 14-03-2016 , the Government Sponsored Managing Committee was formed.There are twelve members in the Managing Committee along with the President, Mr. Ajit Dutta.
