The Campus life in GMS, Old Malda is a blend of quality education and moral value build up. Regular Class room teaching-learning is tried to be forwarded in a story telling and live experiencing methodology. Regular tests are taken and doubt clearing sessions are held. Physical education in terms of sports, games and art & craft learning are encouraged considerably. We promote the concept of "CLEANLINESS IS NEXT TO GODLINESS". Also, considerable amount of co-curricular activities in the form of singing, dancing, drama, drawing competition are held at regular intervals. Each class is given a chance to utilize the library once or twice a week and pupils are also encountered with live demonstration of science experiments in the laboratory. Recently, ICT lab built up programme has initiated, so very soon the students will also get the benefit of Computer learning.

The academic Institution boasts of spacious and airy classrooms with sufficient electric connections (light and fan). It has a nourished library and laboratory facility along with an equipped auditorium comprising of adequate public address system. The Institution possesses installed Solar cells, which has drastically reduced the electricity consumption and thereby, playing a flagship role in exploration of renewable energy resources. The school also has sufficient wash room's & lavatories. It also possesses a electronic filter cum drinking water facility. Last but not the least the academy has a fantastic playground for the pupils where they can develop their physical state of health as per their choice and convenience.
