Hijuli Sikshaniketan HS is a state government sponsored co-ed school at village Hijuli, adjacent to Ranaghat town. The school is situated just opposite of "Kathiya Babar Ashram" and Hijui GSF Primary School. The school started its journey in 1949 and has been imparting quality education to students of this semi urban area. The school's primary medium of instruction is Bengali and the student teacher ratio is 48:1. The school tries to provide best learning environment. The river Churni flows only 300 meters away from the school. The school boasts of having a large playground adjacent to it. The school was awarded Nirmal Vidyalaya Award 2013 by the Nadia District Administration. In the cultural field aslo the school has made a considerable progess. In Ranaghat II Block level Youth Parliament, the school became champion, alongwith the Award for the Best Speaker, Best Martial and Best Opposition. The school has given exceptional results in the academic sphere and it's students have excelled in co-curricular activities also. In the field of sports, the school has made remarkable progress. Football, Cricket, Kho Kho are regularty practiced in the school.
