Our Campus

The school campus has been built in phases over the past six decades and now has two large, wide- spread, compact and inter-connected three storey buildings. The older block was inaugurated in 1969 by the eminent scientist Professor S. N. Bose and is named after him as “Acharya Satyendra Nath Bose Bhavan.  The other building has been dedicated in memory of our founder as “Danbir Santosh Kumar Bhattacharya Bhavan”. Each of these two buildings comprises of a number of large and well equipped classrooms with the facility of toilet on each floor. There is a small but endearing place in the form of a yard; surrounded by a line of large trees, with an open dais on one side that serves as the venue of cultural activities. With profound joy, we state that there are five (05) laboratories (one each for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography and Computer Application), One Computer Room, One Well stocked Library, One Audio-Visual Room, One ‘Learning Enhancement Programme’(LEP) room and three (03) smart classrooms with necessary modern equipments.

In this Institution, the students come into close contact with their teachers and other staff and sincere attempts are always made for imparting holistic development of tender minds in an atmosphere of serenity, discipline and moral purity.
