Our Campus
Regarding physical teaching/training, we have adequate sports materials, experienced trained physical education teacher and a small play ground \in front of our school building.
- Annual sports meet has been arranged every year to encourage the students sportsmanship and winners are felicitated at the end of sports meet
- Apart from these, efforts have been continuously made to create high values in the students through a perfect balance between academical and extracurricular activities by organising different cultural events, celebration of important days like Republic day, Independence day, Saraswati puja by the students and teachers .
- Education tour for students are organised every year by the school authority under the strict guidance by the competent teachers.
- Active Participation of different Government programmes like Kanyashree day , Safe drive Save life, health program etc organised by the Bhadreswar Municipality, SDO Chandannagar even by Bhadreswar Police by our students is regular event.
- Teachers are always play pivotal role to encourage the Students for participating in different scientific exhibition and competition to uplift their scientific temperament.
- The Public addressing system ( Microphone ) has added an advantage to address the students during daily Assembly, in case of any emergency and during different programs.
- Keeping the safety of the students in to consideration, few fire extinguisher has been placed in each floor to meet the requirement in emergency.
- To meet the requirement of Medical Assistance in case of emergency, we have a very cordial relation with the authority of ANKUR, the closest medical unit. All the staffs and doctors are very helpful and always extended the medical support in several instances.
Strength of the school:
- All the furnished class rooms are well ventilated and lighted which provide ambient atmosphere for both the teachers and the students.
- The school Library though a small one but enriched with good number of books of different subjects. Students have access to the school library for text ,reference and story books.
- Geography laboratory is another place of interest for our students to learn and to understand different geographic phenomenon through practical work with the help of competent teachers
- We are constantly putting efforts to improve the teaching materials both in quality and quantity.
- Another fascinating place for the students is the Computer lab with good numbers of modern computers. This lab is very helpful for the basic learners.
- We have one LCD projector and a dedicated room for taking interactive classes with the help of computer added Projection system. It has its own mini generator and UPS to meet the situation during power-cut.
- A spacious clean Kitchen and dining area for preparing and serving MDM to the students remains active almost all working days during lunch time.
- Keeping the health and hygiene of the students in mind, we have the facilities for clean drinking water on sharing basis (Aquaguard filter ,under the strict vigil of teachers) .A spacious washing area adjacent to MDM area provides ample space for washing hands by the students
School building
There is little doubt that the quality of a school building can determine the quality of the school’s environment. The physical environment can be considered as the second teacher, since space has the power to organise the educational process and promote the relationship between student and classroom.
Our school has a three storied building of 6800Sq ft carpet area in a campus of 24500 sq ft land. The total school campus is encircled by strong boundary wall providing a secured place for the students.
The school building has 24 nos of class rooms, to accommodate more than 1000 students. In addition to these separate library room, computer room, well equipped laboratory, designated rooms for other cultural activities, small playground etc are also there.
