Our Campus

Old Egara High School has been established in the year 2001 at Egara Village.The school aims to teach the first generation school goers.They come from serverly disadvantaged families.Education of these first generation school goers is a complex of challenges.It is the responsibility of the teachers to make this education fruitfull.The current students population is approximately 600 students and teaching staff is 16.our positive and challenging teching programs allow all students to develop the necessary knowledge and skills to became confident Learners.

                Old Egara High School bears the memory of Prince Dwarkanath Tagore who  appointed office of Carr,Tagore and Company near the bank of the Damodar River .Our school is situated on this very memorable place.So,we are proud of this historical importance of our school.Old Egara High School situated on a spacious ground in the midst of greenery.It has a play ground,a liabry,a lab,INdoor game stadium,gym,computer room  and airy classrooms.The school runs classes from V to XII.

               Old Egara High School is committed to continuous improvment in teaching and Learningnand to establishing a safe positive enviroment of Learning.Our expectations for academic are high.Our school has already shown its excellence in sports and in cultural activites such as youth parliament,Magazine writing,Wall Magazine etc.Our school has won state level prize in the category of short stoty writing that was published in our school magazine.

                 Parents and committee members are very supportive.Our school aims to faster and stronger then LIinks among children,staff and parents.Old Egara High School aims to ensure that all students get equal education.It aims to teach students how to learn through the development of thinking,So that they become an excellent person in future.
