
Rules and Regulations of the School
1. Students must reach the school on time. Those reaching after the second bell in the morning their parents will be called.
2. On days of school assembly, students must gather in the Assembly Hall and line up before the second bell.
3. Regular attendance is compulsory. Students not attending more than 80 percent of the classes will not be allowed to write their term exams.
4. It is compulsory for the students to bring all text books required for the day to the class.
5. Students not completing the home work/s of the day will have to see the Prefect and complete after the class.
6. In the school, all students must be in their school uniforms on all instructional days. If for some unavoidable reasons one is not in the full school uniform, he/she must get the necessary permisiion
from the Prefect and may have to leave the school premises.
7. Excuse for absences due to transport difficultiies will not be entertained. Fines for such absence will be Rs. 25/- per day.
(a) Absentees on the last working day before and on the first working day after a long vacation will have to pay a fine of Rs. 100/- per day.
(b) Any student who is absent for two or more days must send a leave application duly signed by the parents/guardians. Failing to do so, he/she will be fined Rs. 50.
8. Any damages to school property caused by any student will have to be suitably compensated for.
9. The only holidays permitted are those indicated in the School Calendar.
10. Prior permission of the Headmaster is required for the students taking part in any activity outside the school. No permission is to be presumed.
11. No student is allowed to bring or possess or use mobile/cell phone in the school premises. Penalty for such violation will be the confiscating of the mobile phone and no return of the mobile phone and a further fine of Rs. 1000/-.
12. All the School Contributions should be paid on or before the date indicated in the school calendar. Such contributions should be paid only to the school accountant or his assistant
in the school office. Defaulters will not be permitted to appear for the term examinations.
13, Students with any kind of dues will not be permitted to appear for the final term examination.
14. Playing and running around in the classromms, corridors, auditorium and the assembly hall and loitering in an around INA bus terminus before and after school time, is strictly prohibited.
15. Students who are sick and hence need medical assistance should remain at home and do the needful. Except for cases of emergency student will be permitted only by the Headmaster to go to consult a Doctor or to the hospital during the school hours.
16. Term Examinations are held as shown in the School Diary. A child's final marks will be made up from the marks which he/she obtains in three Terminal Examinations. Children will pass or fail on results of their year's work and not on the results of the Final Term
Examination only.
17. The school follows the same regulation for pass or failure in examinations as prescribed by the Board/Council for the Madhyamik Pariksha and Higher Secondary Examination.
18. Students of Class I-IX who fail to secure 40% of marks in the aggregate will be declared Failed and students of Class XI who fail to secure 34% of marks in the aggregate will be declared Failed.
19. A student caught using unfair means in any Term Examinations will be declared FAILED.
20. A student FAILING TWICE in THREE YEARS will not be allowed to continue his/her studies in SAS.
21. Students unable for any reason whatsoever to sit for any terminal examinations will not be allowed to take a Re-Test.
22. The answer script of any student caught for adopting unfair means in any terminal examinations will be cancelled and not be evaluated.
23. Students who fail to obtain promotion must re-register in advance. No seat can be reserved for a student who after failing does not re-register.
24. In all questions of Promotions and Failures, the Headmaste's decision is final.
25. The name of any student who is absent for two consecutive weeks without the Headmaster's permission or without any written notification being given before hand about the reasons for the absence will be struck off the rolls.
26. There is no "Free Period" in the school.
27. Dismissal: A student will be issued TC from the school if he/she:
(i) Found possessing or consuming or using Alcohol, Drugs, Marijuana (ganja), Tobacco Products, such as Cigarettes, Biri, Gutkha, Tamanna) etc. in the school campus or outside during any of the school programs like Picnic, Camping, Outing, Seminars,
Cultural Programs, Sports and Games.
(ii) Found approaching teachers requesting or threatening them for promotion.
(iii) Found violating any rule of the school as they are expected to display a high quality of moral conduct both inside and outside the school. Any form of vulgairty
or obscenity either in writing, speech or gesture and action will be considered a serius offence and such students will be expelled from the school.
(iv) Found forging/signing in on behalf of their parents in the school calendar.
(v) Found habitually idle, disobedient, lacking in discipline and has any objectionable moral influence on others.
(vi) Does not study seriously or who is not willing too follow the school discipline will be issued TC. If the Headmaster thinks a child has done something which has hurt others or the good name of the school a great deal, he/she will be issued TC>
(vii) Students getting involved in matrimonial affairs should forthwith leave the school.
