
7. The NCC unit has been introduced in our school as a co-curricular activity from the Academic year 2015. A student above 12 years of age can take part in it with due permission from his guardian. Willing students are asked to contact Sri Shantanu Mondal for further details.
8. A well- protected cycle-stand has been arranged in the western side of the school for school students for keeping their bicycles. They may keep their bicycles there and enter school premises by the school gate in the west. Daily charges: Rs. 3/-, monthly charges: Rs. 50/- & yearly charges: Rs. 500/-. Monthly/yearly charges are to be paid at the office before the beginning of the month/ the year while daily charges to the person in charge of the garage.
9. Cause of absence on normal school days should be written in the diary by the guardian with signature & date. A medical certificate has to be produced for the period of absence above 3 days (Prescription cannot be accepted).
10. Throwing litter here and there without using litters bins is strictly prohibited. They must not throw plastic packets in school premises. They must take care of school furniture. They must not step on benches, making them dirty. Damages to school property by students will attract severe punishment with heavy fines.
11. Coming out of the classrooms for playing in the open in between the two periods, unnecessarily loitering and entering into the teachers’ room are strictly prohibited. Marks for formative evaluation will be deducted for this kind of behaviour. If needed, the monitor/class teacher/AHM/HM may be contacted.
12. Pupils are forbidden to misbehave towards their classmates. If it happens in school or outside school,
the guardian will be informed and then the proper action will be taken against the guilty student.
13. If any certificate is needed, a student should apply to HM with proper reasons together with a copy of his photo in school uniform (colour / black and white). The certificate will be available from the school office two days after the submission of his application. Please note that this application should be submitted to HM by student himself after school break-up.
14. All the students are informed that self-attestation is legally accepted everywhere. In spite of this, if a student wants to get his testimonials and certificates attested by HM he should go to him only on Tuesdays and Thursdays after 4.00 p.m. Attestation can never be made without originals.
15. Mid-day meal is arranged for students from Class V to VIII. Willing students are asked to bring with them their own Tiffin boxes /clean dishes for taking mid-day meal. After school being over, students are asked to stand in rows and leave the school slowly in a discipline manner.
16. Students of Class V and VI are asked to leave the school premises immediately after their classes are over so that the smooth running of other classes is not hampered. Guardians’ cooperation is earnestly solicited in this regard.
17. There is space in the diary for recording the day to day progress of lessons. Every student must fill it up (what subject, which chapter) and get it signed by his guardian. His indifference to this will be treated seriously and marks of internal assessment may be deducted. A student must bring his diary with him every day failing which; his admission into the class will be conditional.
18. Student of the first Sl. No. present at school from every section of Class V to XII must come to the HM’s room every day after school hours and record the day to day progress of their lessons with signature and date. This is a compulsory duty.

Rules and Regulations of the School for Students
Students are the real architects of society. Students of today are the responsible citizens of tomorrow. So they should be disciplined from student life. At the very beginning of the Academic Year 2016, they are reminded of the rules and regulations of school for proper guidance in life.
All the students are asked to fill in their own diaries affixed with their photos and those of their guardians within three days after receiving the same.
School Uniform
Class V to X: Black half pant / Khaki full pant, white half /full shirt with school monogram set on it, white socks, white cades ( synthetic shoes for monsoon), belts with school monogram printed on it, (for winter ) navy blue half / full sweater.
Class XI and XII: Black full pant, white socks & black boots .Shirt, belt and sweater same as those of Class V to X.
Students of Class V to X are forbidden to wear watches except exam days. Mobile phones and any other electronic gadgets (not needed in school) are strictly banned in school premises.
No arrangement for re-examination is possible if a student fails to appear on the particular day of exam. No average marks will be added for this absence. A medical certificate in this regard cannot be accepted
According to the rules of WBSE, marks obtained in the exams will decide a student’s promotion to the next higher class.
5. If a student adopts unfair means in the exam, the exam of the particular subject is liable to be rejected. If it happens again in the same exam course or in the same academic year, all his exams are liable to be rejected.
6.No half-day leave will be granted to any student for some work pre-scheduled (after being present at school). Guardians should not make a request for this kind of leave.
