Rules & Regulations

Students should strictly follow the rules and regulations of the school –

  • School timings should be strictly maintained.
  • Each student should come to school in proper uniform as mentioned by the school.
  • Students should attend the morning prayers. They should know the different prayers sung on different days of the week.
  • No student should be in the classroom in time of morning prayer.
  • Students should bring only the textbooks and exercise books according to the class routine. No other books other than text books, reference books and books taken from the school library are allowed within the school premises.
  • The students should keep their school clean. They should behave properly; the daily habits should be conducive to the welfare of the school .
  • It is mandatory for all the students to attend all the school programmes.
  • They should take care of all the school property. If any furniture of any classroom gets damaged, it is the duty of the students to inform the school authority about it.
  • Each section of every class has two monitors to look after the discipline within the classroom. Some students (from IX to XII) act as school captains to maintain overall discipline of the school.
  • The students should not enter the Headmistress’ room, the teachers’ room, the office room and the library without due permission.
  • The students should not roam about in the corridors or in any part of the school when the class is going on.
  • If any student wants to go out of the classroom, she needs the permission of the teacher in the class.
  • If any student is absent from the school she should show the reason of absence signed by the guardian to the class teacher on the day of next arrival in the school; otherwise she is not allowed to remain in the classroom.
  • If she is absent for more than 7 days she should submit medical certificate.
  • The percentage of attendance should be at least 75% of total working days to sit for the examination.
  • During school hour, no student will be allowed to leave the school premises.
  • The student should prepare her lesson everyday, otherwise the guardians will be informed.
  • The examinations are taken in the school as directed by the state government.
  • Students can use the school library for the enhancement of their knowledge. They should return the books in time. If damaged or lost they should inform the librarian.
  • The guardians can meet the Headmistress from 12 noon to 1.30 pm.
  • Within 20 minutes of the commencement of the school the waiting guardians will be informed if the school has to be dissolved earlier than the scheduled time due to some emergency.
  • In any case, the guardians are not allowed to move about in the corridor or in front of the classrooms in the school hour.
  • The guardians should bring proper evidence to collect the marksheet of his/her daughter.
