Rules & Regulations

1. For admission of a candidate, guardians have to submit duly filled in admission forms to the office.

 

2. Students from class V to IX are admitted on the basis of their performance in the selection test.

 

3. A student, to get a transfer certificate, should apply at least 3 days prior to the Headmaster. No certificate will be issued until all the dues are fully paid.

 

4. All the fees have to be paid in due time. Fees are to be submitted in full in the month of January.

 

5. The process of evaluation and examination of scripts of annual examinations will be strictly limited to the teachers of the school only.  Answer scripts of the annual exam will not be shown to guardians or any outsiders.

 

6. Books borrowed from library should be returned on the scheduled day and in due time.  Otherwise the students will not be promoted to the new class.

 

7. According to the rules set by the WBBSE a minimum of 75 % class attendance will have to be secured in order to be permitted to sit for the examination. In the higher secondary section, a student should have at least 70% attendance to qualify as a candidate for the exams. Students should pay attention to their attendance in class.

 

8.  Regarding the educational performance purposes or any other discipline-related purposes, if the school asks a guardian to visit school, he/she will have to attend to the call, failing which the school can take necessary decisions regarding the student in question.

 

9.  Guardians must take note of the comments by the teachers on the students in school diary and comment and sign accordingly for the cognizance of the teacher.

 

10.  Once a student has come to school, he, under no circumstances,  will be allowed to leave school unless the guardian visits in person.

   Attending prayer is compulsory for all students.

   Students are strictly prohibited from bringing cell phones, iPods or transistors to school.
