Rules and Regulations

 

 

It is compulsory for the students to bring their school diary everyday.

 

 

1. Students should come to school in proper uniform and display their Identity Cards with secure attachments.

 

2. > 75% attendance is compulsory for the students.In case of attendance less than 75%, the students will not be allow to sit for the Madhyamik and Higher Secondary Examinations.

 

  • In case of a student’s absence, a note should be written by the guardian, within the space provided in the school diary.The note should clearly mention the reason for absence.
  • Those children who have chronic physical ailments, should inform their respective class teachers about their problems.Otherwise, in case of long absence, the students will be prohibited from appearing in the examinations.
  • If the students of Class XI and XII do not required percentage of attendance, they would be fined according to the Board’s rules and regulations.

 

3. > It is compulsory for the students to maintain the school diary and fill the required pages throughout the year.All diaries are to be preserved as they might provide evidence for any dispute at the time of awarding certificates.

 

  • If the school diary is lost Rs. 50/- should be deposited at the school office in order to get a new one.

 

4. > There are three ‘Formative’ and three ‘Summative’ evaluations for the students of Class V to VIII.

 

  • The first evaluation is held in the first week of April, second evaluation in the last week of the July and the Annual exam is held in the last week of November.
  • Promotion to the next class will be granted on the overall achievement of the students in the three summative examinations.
  • Class IX and X students have to appear two Summative Examinations (40 + 10), (40+ 10) and one selection test (90 + 10).They will be eligible to appear for the Madhyamik Pariksha according to their overall achievement in the three evaluations (200 marks).
  • For Class XI Half yearly examination (50 marks) is held in the last week of November.An Annual Examination (100 marks) is held according to the scheduled of the West Bengal Board of Higher Secondary Education.
  • For Class XII students a Pre-Test (50 marks) will be held in the first week of August and selection Test (100 marks) will also be taken later.
  • It will be the responsibility of the student to return the Report Cards do their respective class teachers within 7 days of receiving them.All Report Cards must be signed by the guardians before returning them to school.Strict disciplinary actions will be taken if the rules are not followed.If the Report Card is lost a fine of Rs. 20/- has to be deposited at the school office for issuing a new one.
  • Changes in the number of examinations, evaluations and timings may occur in future, following the directions of the affiliated Boards.

 

5. Students should not bring Mobile Phones, Tab, Ipod, Camera, Video Games to school.  If they disobey the school authority would seize these items and take disciplinary actions against the students.
