Rules & Regulations

The codes of conduct, as described below, are the summary of what every student of Halisahar  Ramprasad Vidyapith is expected to follow:-

1) Every day the school commences at 10:50a.m. Before the classes start, assembly is held at 10:40 a.m. and it is mandatory for each and every student to attend the assembly and join in the singing of the National Anthem. Hence, students are expected to reach school before 10:35 a.m.

2) Students are strictly forbidden to take early leave or half-day leave during regular school hours except in case of emergency.They can then leave school accompanied only by their parents after taking due permission from the Headmaster. If violated,it would be treated as a punishable offence.

3) Students are not allowed to come out of their classrooms during classes or between two periods without permission of the teachers. Moving in the corridors, if necessary, should be made in such a way that no class is disturbed. 

4) Students, who have been absent the previous day or days, must produce an explanation from their parent/guardian on the designated page of this diary without fail. Application for sick leave of over one week accompanied by a doctor's certificate should be submitted to the Head master through the class teacher. 

5) As per rules of Madhyamik Board and H.S.Council,75% attendance is compulsory for the students. It should be strictly adhered to by all the students studying in classes 10 and 12.

6) Students must always come to the school (even for other activities apart from doing classes) in proper school uniform along with I/D Card and badge. Sent-up students too, must come to school,if necessary, wearing proper school uniform. Students writing  the Board  and Council Examinations must go to their respective centres wearing school uniform, I/D Card and badge.

7) Students are strictly forbidden to bring mobile phones, objectionable literature, pictures  or expensive articles to the school. If violated, mobile phones or other items will be confiscated by the authority. School does not take responsibility of lost articles,money etc.

8) Bullying and harassment of fellow school mates is strictly prohibited and stern disciplinary actions will be taken against the offenders.

9) Students are expected to preserve and protect school property and school belongings. Any intentional damage to any of the school belongings will be deemed as a punishable offence.  The replacement or repairing charges shall be borne by parents/guardians. 

10) Participating in various school activities and Annual Sports Day by the students is compulsory. 

11) It is compulsory for all the students from classes V to VIII to take computer education through Computer Literacy Programme of the Government of West Bengal and I.C.T. and administered by the school. 

12) Recourse to use of any unfair means while writing an examination will end up in cancellation of the answer script. Judging the seriousness of the offence, decision will be taken after discussing with the guardians.

13) Any student found involved in serious breach  of  the codes of conduct will  be eligible for disciplinary actions including termination.
