RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Each and every student and member of the staff should arrive before 10.30 a.m. and be present at the prayer assembly, and not depart before 4.30 p.m. (1.30 p.m. on Saturdays).
2. Students are required to maintain at least 75% attendance in an academic year to be eligible for sitting in evaluations/examinations and also to avail of different scholarships/financial assistance.
3. The students must wear the prescribed school uniform at school. They must keep their uniforms clean and tidy.
4. Girl students should avoid wearing trinkets or ornaments. Boys should keep their hair cut short and maintain a decent style. No objectionable hair style or artificial dying of hair is permitted.
5. No student should be allowed loitering in the corridors or school compound without proper reason.
6. Everyone should maintain decorum and discipline at school. Quarrelling or assaulting others will be treated with firmness; such incidents may lead to temporary or permanent suspension of the person concerned.
7. Students must observe proper hygiene, especially during meals. They must wash their hands with soap before taking mid-day meal.
8. Unreasonable prolonged absence must be avoided, in case of illness or any other valid cause; the absence must be condoned by the respective class teacher.
9. In order to ensure free and joyful atmosphere of learning, and in terms of the existing rules and norms corporal punishments of all sorts are strictly prohibited.
10. Students and the staff of the school should try to attend all programmes of the school.
