Admissions

As per Direction of the School Education Deptt. read with the Guidelines laid by the W.B.B.S.E. & as per the Proviso of RTE-2009 Meherpur High School never conducts any Screening in the name of Admission/Elimination Test. Depite the existing provision the School even does not conduct any Draws of Lott.s. Officially the School announces Admissions to Classes V-X in the 3rd week of December through NOTICE on the School's Notice-Board. The New Admission Forms' Distribution process starts from the Last Week of December ( Promoted from this School are not distributed). The entire Admission Procedure is conducted upto January 31 & thereby is closed. DCF is used as Admission Form. The DCFs are numbered at School's Office as 1,2,....and are distributed among Guardians free of cost.The Last Date of DCF submission & Admission is Notified verbally to Guardians further. The Guardians are to Submit duely filled-in DCFs with Digital T.C.s of students obtained from previous Schools alongwith one sel-attested Testimonials notified earlier ( e.g.- One self-attested Xerox Copy of DOB Certificate, Aadhar Card, Blood-Testing Certificate, Income-Certificate if available, BPL Certificate if available, Caste-Certificate if available, Parent's Epic Card , Student's Bank-Details & Mobile No. and One Passport Size Colour Photograph). Guardians fetched DCFs from other sources may also submit their DCFs with said enclousers only after being numbered of those DCFs from the School's Office.There is no Admission Fee , instead , the Guardians are to pay Rs.240/- ( As per Order of the SED, Govt. of West Bengal & the W.B.B.S.E.) only as Development Charges for Admission( Both for Fresh & Promoted) to Classes V-X.. No Hidden Charges apply.In extremely Rare Cases, both Fresh & Promoted Students are facilitated through Full-Free & Half-Free Scheme sanctioned by the School Authority. Besides, Options for Admission of students coming from Privately Managed School, having no Digital Certificates, are also open as per State & District Education Deptt.'s Guidelines.
