NOTICE
Rules for admission in Class XI in the Academic Year 2019 – 2020.
Successful candidates of Madhyamik Pariksha, 2019 of W.B.B.S.E. who fulfill the following criteria will be considered eligible to collect application form for admission in Class- XI in the session 2019 – 2020. Applicants can download the form or collect it from the school office. Filled-up forms have to be submitted at the school office on dates specified below. (Ref. to Pg. No. 2)
SET- I : SCIENCE (Beng. & Eng. medium)
- Forms will be distributed among general category candidates securing minimum 60% in aggregate for Science (both for Home & other school students).
- Forms will be distributed among SC/ST/OBC/Physically Challenged candidates who have passed Madhyamik Pariksha 2019 of W.B.B.S.E.
- 80% marks in average in 3 (three) Science subjects (65% marks in average for Home students) in the Madhyamik Pariksha, 2019 is the minimum requirement in Science Group.
- Only 5 (five) Home students with Urdu as first language will be selected for admission in Science section (English Medium) (Class- XI B2).
Other selected candidates will be allowed only to choose Bengali as first language in both Bengali & English medium section.
- Students have to select only one set of subjects from the following for Science stream.

NOTE CAREFULLY
| In Science branch school students who have secured at least 70% marks in the aggregate and 75% in Science subject and Math taken together will be entitled to get admission according to vacancy of the school (Govt. of W.B., School Education Deptt., H.S. Branch Memo No. 113(SAHS/SC-06 2011). |
Outsider applicants will be listed only (according to merit) to fill the remaining vacant
seats in case of Science branch separate line.
Students will be admitted in order of merit only in each category (GEN / SC/ST / OBC / PH) by strictly following Govt. Rules.

It is mandatory that attested copies of Admit card, Marksheet (Madhyamik Pariksha 2019), School Leaving Certificate (Original), Caste Certificate and relevant documents are to be submitted along with admission form.
Students obtaining less than 35% in any subject will not be allowed to take that
subject in subject combination, as per Govt. Rules.
Incomplete Admission Forms or those with other discrepancies are liable to be cancelled.
SET- III HUMANITIES (ARTS)
BENGALI MEDIUM
No. of seats 48 + 5 (Urdu Home students)
- Home students who passed the Madhyamik Pariksha 2019 are eligible to collect forms for Humanities/Arts.
- Forms will be distributed among SC/ST/OBC/Physically Challenged candidates who have passed Madhyamik Pariksha 2019 of W.B.B.S.E.
- Other school students of General Category who scored 55% marks in aggregate may collect forms for Humanities.
- Only 5 (five) Home students with Urdu as first language will be selected according to merit in Arts stream (Bengali Medium) (Class- XI A).
- Students have to select only one set of subject from the following for Humanities.

Only 10 students with Nutrition will be selected according to merit.
No. of seats = 48 (including existing students if any) + an additional number of five students (including existing students if any) only of Urdu medium of this institution may be admitted to Class- XI (Arts) (Bengali medium)
Seats reserved for SC candidates = 22%
Seats reserved for ST candidates = 6%
Seats reserved for OBC (A) candidates = 10% (Muslim)
Seats reserved for OBC (B) candidates = 7%
Seats reserved for Physically Challenged candidates = 3%
It is mandatory that attested copies of admit card, marksheet (MP 2019) school leaving certificate, Caste certificate and other relevant documents (for reserved categories) should be submitted along with admission form.
Students obtaining less than 35% in nay subject will not be allowed to take that subject in subject combination, as per Govt. Rule.
Incomplete admission forms or those with other discrepancies are liable to be cancelled.
