Bolpur Sailabala Girls' High School is situated very near to Bolpur Railway Station. Its distance from Bolpur Bus-stand is 3 K.M. It is a girls' school from class V to class XII. Students are coming from nearby areas. It was established in the year 1965 only for girls’ students. Teachers are working very hard and always think about the good prospects of the students. The school is at a suitable place, out of nuisance. Our school has four two-storied building. There are twenty-five spacious classrooms, one teacher’s room, one big cycle stand, and a library. The headmistress has a separate room to sit in. There is an office room near to the headmaster’s room. Two clerks sit there and maintain the records of the school. There are twenty-five teachers. There are also science laboratories, a kitchen, and a big dining hall for mid-day meal. The library room is very ample. There is a rich collection of books in the library. Our teachers are very friendly supportive and kind to students, they are well qualified. Our school starts at 10:30 a.m. and breaks up at 4:15 p.m. there is a large playground in the middle of the school. Our Madhyamik and Higher Secondary results are much better than other schools.
