Welcome to The Michaelnagar Shikshaniketan Higher Secondary School: an ideal co-educational English Medium Govt. Sponsored School for boys and girls. It is my very great pleasure and privilege to be the Headmaster of the school fully planned, fully equipped with playground, gardening, e-classroom, library, computer learning, science laboratory and many more. We focus and channel our energy and efforts into educating boys and girls aged 10-18 and in honing their characters and skills, both collectively and individually, to the very highest standard. The School is an extraordinary school in many other ways. The special efforts and initiatives of Hon’ble MLA Sri Rathin Ghosh and all the well wishers of this locality for upliftment of the school are heartily acclaimed. We are highly grateful of Smt. Kakali Ghosh Dastidar, Hon’ble M.P. to grant with us computers and furniture for the development of academic atmosphere of the school. The school’s founders especially Michael Samabay Upanibesh Samity had an outstanding vision to build the locality an ideal one planned with a Primary and a High school and other cultural environment in and around the locality. We are now bestowed with the duty to proceed on their vision to bloom with an effective way.

We are also grateful to the School Education Department, Govt. of West Bengal for sanctioning 8 ACRS (Additional Class Rooms), installation of Solar Panel and repairing grant to develop the academic atmosphere of the school. ICT computer project is also running in the school. Today, the school remains committed to the need to provide a truly holistic education to boys and girls.
