History

Michael Samabaya Upanibesh Samity founded Michaelnagar Shikshaniketan a Co-educational Institution in the year 1966 with an aim of academic development of the students of Michaelnagar and it's neighbouring areas.The school gained  affiliation by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education upto Junior high level in 1982 and later it was upgraded to high school in 2012 as Bengali medium secondary institution.Later the Govt. of West bengal introduced English Medium Section from Class-V to X in this school w.e.f.01.01.2017 and the school has been upgraded from High to Higher Secondary level with General Stream (Science and Arts) from the session 2019.
