As the institutional head I, DR. PARAMITA CHAKRABORTY deem it my profound pleasure to develop this website of our school KAMALAPUR KAMALA BALIKA VIDYAPITH. In this regards I would like to quote Albert Einstein when he said,” I do not teach children. I create conditions for them to learn”. It is our moto to make academic journey of a student a smooth one which will be full of joy and discovery. It will be instilling confidence in them to express themselves freely and fearlessly. Education does not mean only making the children literate by spoon feeding them with some information, formulas or extra notes. Its true purpose should be to make children enriched in every walk of life. It should be her emotional development, social enrichment, cultural buildup, ethical improvement and then only her overall educational enrichment will occur. Education which is devoid of moral teaching is worth nothing. So mere feeding some information, notes and formulas or dates etc. is not our goal. It should be the duty of everyone in the family as well as the whole society and our country to provide the opportunity and create an environment for the education of all children of this country.

I should also mention that special care should be given to the girl child because in our society many girls are deprived of all facilities even today in 2020. This may not occur in all families but still a large number of families don't give the opportunity to their daughters to get education or let them come to Schools, Colleges or Universities. Now a days, we see that in this whole world an environment of tussle and dissatisfaction created in the name of divisive forces , which can become a threat to our society. Only education can come forward to take us away from this dark environment. Education is the metamorphosis of the behavior of a student. I really feel proud and happy that this school is working in this field with all its efforts to make the child a true citizen of our nation. We will always try to help our students to sharpen their memory, intellect, cocurricular activities, sports, drawing, dancing and singing abilities or any other hidden talents observed among the students. We will also try to build there their characters so that they can serve the nation by becoming a true citizen of India.

Since I, DR. PARAMITA CHAKRABORTY, took charge of my office as the HEADMISTRESS of KAMALAPUR KAMALA BALIKA VIDYALAY, in 19th of July, 2019, l engaged myself in an all-round development of this institution wholeheartedly with a mission to uplifting it to the level of superlative institutions in the district. Education, l believe, brings awareness and awareness ensures development of the mind and the spirit of the educants by drawing out the best possibilities in them. With this target to reach l sought the co- operation of my colleagues and guardians, managing committee members and everyone. Concerned to work in a body for the greater interest of our beloved students.

Not only that the school follows each and every government programme, observes all important days of national observance in true terms and spirit , the school distributed materials of mid-day-meal abiding government guidelines even neglecting the risk of Covid -19 attack. We acheive 100% target in KANYASHREE. And also all other Goverment projects like Shikkhashree, Oikyashree, Sabuj Sathi and others are run succesfullyb n this school. We take special care of specially abled students. Provide special consideration to financially backward students belonging to S.T., S.C ,OBC and minority communities. During the Covid pandemic situation our teachers arranged online classes to minimize their studies being hampered. Students' interest being our first and foremost concern, we encourage them in every way like awarding them for their individual academic performance as well as for their achievements in the Annual sports of the school. With the objective to make the students computer literate the school has arranged for compulsory computer classes from classes V to lX. The performance of our students hitherto in the M.P. and the H. S. exams. has been satisfactory. Thus, the school has been successfully contributing to the society by way of sending students of this school to responsible fields of life and activities.

The school has some laggings also. We have no playground of our own for students. Sports activities arranged in other grounds of locality. There is no kitchen- shed or separate room either for comfortably serving mid-day-meals to the students. We have some vacant posts to be fulfilled but due to lack of roll-strength, which is a common problem of almost all the Bengali medium schools, those are not sanctioned. Installation of a soundless Generator as an alternative arrangement during power cuts, is a great need of the moment. We shall feel infrastructurally sound as soon as these problems are dressed.

At the end, I gratefully and profoundly thank all the contributors who have factored in the making and makeover of the website.
