Masat Junior High School, though not a very big and renowned school of Hooghly district, is an institution where, basically 90% of the first generation learners come. So apart from our challenge of giving quality education to the students, we also have to acclimatize them to the environment of the school and induce in them the basic values of punctuality, regularity, health and hygiene, etc.associated with the concept of the school. In spite of several infrastructural limitations and hundreds of other social challenges, the sincere staff of the school tries to dedicate their cent percent for the betterment of the school and the progress of its students.

Besides following the curriculum of WBBSE, the teachers encourage each and every student to take part in different co-curricular and cultural activities to identify their hidden talents, skills and potential thus providing them special attention to hone the same to achieve higher goals.

Most importantly, we pay much importance to the ethical and moral values of the children so that each one of them can be a responsible citizen and a good human being of tomorrow. We also encourage every healthy suggestion or advice of the parents and community for any kind of progress of our school. Apart from that, we harp on them to take an active role in his or her child’s education.

In the school, everyday is a new experience for us, the teachers. We always try to maintain a healthy environment in the classroom which makes teaching and learning an enjoyable experience for both, the teachers and the students. The implementation of audio-visual classes adds a step further to our effort to achieve the same. With the blessings of all, we seek to move forward with a hope of creating holistic growth of all the students of the school with the cooperation of the staff and all our well-wishers.
