The school starts its session on 2nd January of every year with the Book Day Programme. Netaji's birthday, Republic Day, Saraswati Puja, Nirmal Vidyalaya Saptaha, Rabindra Jayanti, School Annual Programme, Independence Day, Vector Borne Disease Rally, Vidyasagar's birthday and many other occasions are celebrated in the school with pomp and grandeur. The First Assessment of the school is usually held in the first week of April, the Second Assessment in first week of August and the Third Assesment in the first week of December. Parent-Teacher Meetings are held on every three months to discuss the problems of the students and the ways to improve their performance.
