"Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today"—are some lines from Malcolm that I possess strong faith in. The word 'Education' comes from the Latin word 'Educere' meaning 'to bring out'. And so, we here at Hooghly Girls High School believe in an education that does not stuff students in with loads of information, but rather, brings out the depths of knowledge from one's inside. Hence, with such ideologies kept in mind, we pledge to make and remake our school constantly to achieve and manifest the fittest model of education for all our beloved students to guide them along into a future filled with prosperity. Further, I would cordially like to thank all those who have acknowledged their responsibilities with sincerity, be it our Managing Committee, or the respected teachers and staff, who have directly or indirectly coordinated and left no stone unturned in structuring the very best for the school. And so, with warm-heartedness and pride, I would love to welcome each and every one of you to become a part of this family with the highest number of students in the vicinity at Hooghly Girls High School. We are hoping and looking forward to bringing you all under the united umbrella of HGHS.
