Campus Life is an oasis for students who crave to be included without judgment.
Campus life knows that adolescence can be the best or the worst of times, and it is always a pivotal time in a young person’s life. Hooghly Girls High School is a vibrant and dynamic community, alive with the palpable enthusiasm and curiosity of its student body. It is an environment that is bustling with activity, full of excitement, and overflowing with life. Students build friendships, learn taking responsibilities, and work hard in a safe and secure environment. Whether we are singing, acting, competing, or even learning, we are doing so in a unique way to create an education that defines for a lifetime. Students run the Kanyashree and Eco-clubs, Child Cabinet, music and dance performances, wall magazines, sports and gymnastics, socio-cultural awareness campaigns, quiz programs, and exhibitions. All this marks the HGHS experience as one that encourages student voice and presence in the greater community.
Relational Base:
Campus life at HGHS realizes the essentiality of shared experiences amongst students and caring supportive adults to be indispensable. Hence, our topmost priority lies in building relationships and not just programs.
Holistic Balance:
Committing to helping students along the way as they wrestle with problems they face while living a perfectly-balanced life—mentally, physically, spiritually, and socially, is the motto of HGHS.
Individual Focus:
Campus life is evident of the fact that the journey of adolescence is supposedly unique and distinctive to everyone. We are committed to putting in all our efforts to coming alongside students, meeting them where they stand, and help them walk through these years, supporting them in every step of their school life and beyond.
