I extend a warm welcome to the visitors of this website. I am honoured to be the Head of the Institution of this wonderful school. It is a privilege for me to work with our students, most of whom are first generation learners. It is a challenge as well as a satisfaction. I have a group of Assistant Teachers who stand by me through thick and thin for taking up this challenge. The office staff and other staff work ably and in harmony with the rest of team and help in smooth running of the school. I take this opportunity to extend my gratitude to the Managing Committee of the school. The Committee, headed by our President Smt. Ismat Hakim plays a pro-active role in the welfare of the school. We aim to create a nurturing, yet challenging environment that is built on positive relationships. The guardians of the wards also support us in our mission. They run two self help groups which provide mid-day meal and school uniforms for our students at an optimum cost as per government regulations. The school is affiliated with the WBBSE and WBCHSE which offer an appealing and stimulating curriculum. We stay in constant touch with the guardians to ensure the best learning outcome. I hope that through healthy interaction between all the members of the school and the guardians of the students, Chetla Girls' High School team will emerge as a warm generous community.
