Kadamdanga Jr. High School recognised as a (Upper Primary School) from class five to eight (Bengali Medium) w.e.f 01.05.2009by the Secretary of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education vide Memo No S/Recog/2009/N-144 Dated 25.02.2009.
The School started by a guest teacher named Late Shri Amritalal Paul at classroom of Kadamdanga Part Junior Basic School from 08th April,2010.
After few months on 17th August,2010 one assistant teacher named Chitralekha Bandhu (History,Pass) recommended by W.B.R.S.S.C (E.R) joined this institution . Then there was no specific institution named Kadamdanga Jr. High School. Actually it was just as a new born baby which is attached to a primary school. After joining this institution Chitralekha Bandhu has been taking the school's responsibility as a teacher-in-charge from 17th August,2010.
Chitralekha Bandhu and Amritalal Paul started their first class with 35 students of class five. Though there were no essential facilities for running a new -set up educational institution.
After one year there was another one lady assistant teacher named Sangita Dey (M.A in English, B.ed )recommended by W.B.R.S.S.C (E.R) joined this institution on 18th July, 2011. From this year ( 2011) the mid-day-meal programme has been started of this institution.
After one year in 2012 Kadamdanga Jr. High School was shifted to its own permanent place at same village named Kadamdanga in newly built two additional classrooms (built by.MSDP fund). But there was no boundary wall, toilets and urinals ,electricity ,kitchen shed for mid-day-meal etc. It was so difficult to handle each and every situation smoothly at that moment. After one year on 30th September,2013 Sangita Dey resigned this institution.
After few months on 16th December,2013 another one assistant teacher named Sunjiv Ghosh(Bengali,Pass) recommended by W.B.R.S.S.C (E.R) joined this institution . His enthusiastic and co-operative nature makes students more energetic and joyful.
After five years on 18th April,2018 one non-teaching staff named Samanta Mandal recommended by W.B.R.S.S.C (E.R) joined this institution . After facing many ups and downs now-a-days most of the facilities are now in this institution like five additional classrooms with big and wide Windows, partial boundary wall, separated boys and girls toilets and urinals with water facility, kitchen cum-storeroom and kitchen shed for mid-day-meal programme ,library ,electricity, tap-water facility, game equipments ,various furnitures ,ramp-handrels etc.which are most important for proper running for an educational institution. The abovementioned facilities have been arranged by the West-Bengal Govt.'s allotted grants and also by the help of the honourable B.D.O of Khayrasole Development Block, the honourable S.I of Schools of Khayrasole South CLRC and the Ad-hoc committee's Members of this institution.
At present two permanent assistant teachers (Chitralekha Bandhu and Sunjiv Ghosh),one Group D-Peon (Samanta Mandal)and two guest teachers (Asoke Karmakar and Jyotsna Das(Pandey) are doing their duties with great zeal in this institution and the school is running smoothly. Still now Chitralekha Bandhu is Teacher in-charge of this institution. She has completed her 10years service life on 16th August,2020.
