           You're Welcome To Mamudpur Madhyamik Jatiya Siksha Pratisthan HS:--

           In the last half of 40s , the people of the villages of Mamudpur, Sererati, Boltala, Keorakhali and Narikeltala  those who were mainly farmers showed the urge to enlighten their children through education. The entire community of the area felt the need of an Educational Institution for their childrens’ educational development and upliftment. That need and requirement gave birth to this Institution. Even that would not be possible, if those true-hearted and broad-minded doctors late Narayan Chandra Jana and his brother late Birendranath Jana would not come ahead and donate their land to set up a Co-Ed School. It was the 2nd January of 1948, when our Institution started its great journey and by the years became one of the leading Bengali medium Institutions at Basirhat Sub-Division in the state of West Bengal.

 

            At the beginning, WBBSE recognised & affiliated the Institution as a 4 Class Jr. High School  (Memo No. 52(3), Dt. 04/01/1957) but in the  year 1980 the Institution was upgraded into a X Class High School (Memo No.-S/534, Dt.0 7/09/1981).In 2008, the Institution was further upgraded into a Higher Secondary School (Memo No. DS(A)SD/03/Recog./2008, Dt.09/07/2008) with Arts stream. Later on, the Institution has been continuing its long journey step by step with success and repute. It is to note that as per Memo No:945-N24P-609/SE/S/10M-117/14 DT.19.02.2016,the Institution has been converted as West Bengal Govt. Sponsored Institution.  

 

            The atmosphere in which our Institution is situated is very pleasant. It has three rows of buildings. Besides classrooms, there are Teachers’ Common-room, Office-room, Science Laboratory, Library,  Digital Class-Rooms, Computer-room, a permanent stage and  Student Identity Card etc. Netaji’s Birthday, the Republic Day, the Saraswati Puja, Rabindra Jayanti, Nazrul Jayanti, the Teacher’s Day, the Children’s Day are observed with high respect and regard. Various competitions on drawing, writing, recitation, debate etc. and games and sports are held in every year with much enthusiasm. 

 

             Presently, the Institution provides fairly a large number of students (approx.1000) with the chance to study about every subject precisely with affection by the highly experienced teachers. In Arts stream, approx. 300 students are taught about seven subjects. All the students from V to IX avail the chance to study computer.

 

              The students of this Institution show brilliant performance not only in Board and Council examinations but also in various competitive exams. Many students from this Institution have occupied glorious position with high acclaim in various fields. 

 

                It will not be an exaggeration to say that the Institution is now able to come forward a long way to fulfill the need and requirement of knowledge and education of the children of the locality but there is yet another long way to go to attain goal.
